There are a couple of Colt bolt actions on GB right now, and I was wondering if they are good or not so good.
1. What are there design features?
2. How solid is the syn. stock? i.e. Rem. ADL syn. is kind of flimsy
3. Avalibility of good scope bases?
At the price they are going for, it would make a good meat gun. I just havn't had a chance to look at one "in hand"0 -
Is this a Colt-Sauer?? 0 -
Who made this Rifle....You neglected to say.....

jeffleger,
Here is a thread from another forum with some information about stock fit.

Capt'n Kirk,
The original design was done by Melvin Forbes and his company, Ultra Light Arms, now New ULA. Colt bought the rights from Forbes to manufacture and sell the Colt Light Rifle, then proceeded to run it into the ground. They outsourced virtually all of the parts manufacturing so spare parts are non-existent. Forbes bought it back from Colt and has spent the last couple of years trying to locate all of the manufacturing suppliers and any spare parts that may be around. He has not only taken back the company but also the responsibility of trying to keep the Colt customers happy even though they are not really his problem. Good customer service.
