Still Need Help with 7mmLaser
Does anyone know anything????
I have recently aquired a Remington XP100 that was a 7mmBR Rem> It has been changed to 7mmLaser. The Company that did the work isIron Sight Gun Works Inc. And the name Ron Denton is stamped on the barrel. Can anyone tell me anything about the caliber or the company? I know if I cannot find any info I will have to have a chamber cast made to determine cartridge dimensions.

Try hitting the Wildcat sites. Better chance of getting the info your after.

Have you checked Cartridges of the World? Barnes (now edited by McPhereson) is a good one for knowing all things cartridge-wise and also has many credits and web site listings for wildcat rounds covered and not. My copy is buried somewhere upstairs so if you don't have access to a copy post back and I'll dig it out and take a gander for you. Guessing it is an improved type cartridge that requires minimal re-machining/reaming to ease the conversion from 7mmBR. Let me know

Thanks for your response. Have not checked the wildcat sites yet. But the book Cartridges of the World doesn't have any reference to it. Thanks again. 0
