    Hello fordtractor...

Sometime between 1890 - 1913. Value... more than likely <$200 (these are primarily mantle queens). Whatever you do, don't shoot it with modern ammo. It was made for black powder, and it has shorter than currently standard chambers.

Bert has pretty well nailed it. What makes for value in old guns is demand, not age. These older blackpowder guns are rarely collected and then mostly by blackpowder shooter that reload their own rounds. Not to say it was not a very decent gun in its day, but many were made and they were mostly modestly priced utility guns. Oil it up, rub it down and put it over the mantle, that is what I would do if I had a veteren like that.

As for make, it was made in Belgium for export and the Acme name indicates it was built for a particular mercantile or hardware company to sell under their name. There were hundreds of thousands of such guns built both in the U.S. and abroad.
