Value of an M1A1 Folding Stock?
I have an M1A1 Folding Stock (this is the stock only). The stock is original and in good condition. Finish and marks are consistent with age. Correct markings on grip and butt plate. Hand guard is IO two rivet type. It does have the M2 cutout.
Any idea on what it is worth, value?

We really don't have enough information to tell exactly what you have.
There were 2 "runs" produced by Inland, & there were numerous variations throughout production. Different types of stocks, different types of rivets, different markings, different types of handguards, etc make identification of these difficult. In addition, most stocks found today fall in the following categories:
1) original
2) rebuilt
3) some parts replaced
4) reproductions/fakes
It would take high quality digital photos, or hands-on examination, to figure out exact what you have. It could be worth as much as $2,000, but it could also be worth a lot less. You might want to consider paying Scott Duff (www.scott-duff.com) for an appraisal.
