Stuck Choke Tube Solution
Fabulous tool for stuck choke tubes is a tool that slips inside pipes-tubes, and expands gripping the inside walls.
Using a 3/8" rachet or extension, you simply turn the driver or extension, and the internal jaws expand gripping the inner wall.
Spreading out the gripping area reduces spot-thread damage.
About $35 at plumbing supply houses, and some tool companies.
Sorry, I forget the name of the tool.
Real cheap solution to a potentially expensive problem.
There is a special anti seize product I like better that any other choke lube, but it's not sold as a choke lube, and it's much more expensive than Never Seize.
"Nickel Seize" is about $14 which is about twice the price for the same size bottle as Never Seize-Anti Seize (Perma Tex).
Having higher percentages of metallics, and base lube. Great for harsher enviroments like construction-marine machinery, trailer ball hitches with much better wash out resistance.
Takes more "rubbing" in on the threads, but it's worth every penny.
Happy Bullet Holes!
