  Made under the Illuminator Series. Good piece of glass.
  Somewhat over sized, and a little heavy for a woods hunting scope, but a good bean field, and Tactical choice.
  Tactical LE rigs aren't normally weight concerned, due to application.
  
  Note: Look inside the objective, you'll see a 'ring' behind the lens.
  which acts as an internal sun shade increasing clarity.
  
  Redfield was purchased by the "Blount Group" who owns Simmons, Weaver, and and alot more companies years ago. Being revived slowly, and is considered to be positioned as their top brand, with weaver next, and Simmons as the economy line.
