Synthetic Weatherby stocks
Hello everyone,
This is my first post so, here goes....
Does anyone know who makes the new Weatherby Monte Carlo synthetic stock they're putting on the Vanguards and Mark V's? I have a Vangaurd with a wood stock on it and I was thinking about putting a synthetic on it for weight reduction and I like the Monte Carlo design. Is the syn stock lighter than the original wood? Will Weatherby sell just the stock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!![:)]

Bell and Carlson makes the MK V accumark composite stocks,..so I would bet they make the lower priced model stocks as well. If not,..they make replacement stocks for all weatherby models.
HS Precision also makes replacements as does Mcmillan.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

As Vanguards are just Howa 1500's, Ramlines are what I've always seen. That is unless there is something new about the latest guns...

The vanguards use a houge stock if I am not mistaken. But the new ones for 2004 are supposed to be avaliable with the B&C like the mark V. Am waiting for more verification on this but that was told to me by Weatherby cust. ser. at the end of last year. I am wanting one in 300wsm. And they are also avaliable with custom shop options or so they told me.
