Need Info on Ranger Model 35 .22 rifle
I have this gun called a Ranger model 35 .22s-l-lr ana says made in USA. It is a single shot with a 24" barrel. The wood stock has sling swivels and grooved forend. Does anyone have any info on this gun or what it would be worth in 85% condition. Thanks

Only have cross-reference for a 35-A which is a Stevens 66A and value for this would be $100+/-
If you would like to list the Sears Code Number 1nn.nnnnnnn maybe a better cross reference can be made. These numbers are 3 digit followed by a period and some number of digits and that number varies.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
marlin also used the ranger name. 0 -
it's not a Stevens 66; they are tube-fed repeaters.
A picture wold help a lot here. I will check my reference materials later today to see if there is a match. There was a Marlin model 34, which was labeled Ranger; it was Marlin's first bolt-action rifle, and
made during the mid 1930's.
What type of sights are on your rifle?0 -
Send me your email and I'll send pics.
