Colt 1905 .45 ACP
Does anyone have an opinion as to realistic value of a Colt .45ACP model 1905? Condition is about 50% original blue finish. Any thoughts or comments appreciated. Two are listed in GB auctions at numbers that look too optimistic to me. Auction numbers are 16543265 & 16734188. I found them by entering Colt 1905 in the search box on the GB home page.

I sold #2059 about 5 years ago for $1400. I still have an earlier one I shoot, plus a factory letter, that would sell for a bit more now.

Considering that SA Colts average a couple of grand, these .45's are a bargain right now. They will all be over a hundred years old within 6 years and only a few thousand were made.
The FIRST .45 automatic! They WILL appreciate significantly but that is just my opinion.0
