I am thinking of purchasing a savage 110e 30-06 ,is this a good rifle?I hear the out of the box accuracy is a big positive...I guess I am asking is what is this gun worth and is there anything particular or secrets about this gun I should know about..The bluing is good and has a wood stock...

If I were looking for a rifle...this could be very well be a good buy....Any extras could make it worth more.....But as is...if you're happy with the deal thats all that matters.....

Does it have a scope ? Is it in good condition ? If your really wanting a new rifle , you may can do better. If your just wanting to help your buddy out tho , you may can get your money back out of it.

If I recall I see Savage bolt actions go on sale around here for $379.99 with 3x9 scope , and a sling around hunting season. The value of the Savage you are asking about depends a lot on it's condition and what are you getting with the deal. Savages are accurate guns. Just compare what you are getting with this deal as compared to what you could get new for the same package, then if it's worth it to ya buy it. 0
