Glock 21 45ACP LEO mag
A friend gave me a 15 round Glock 21 mag (13+2)to settle an old financial debt. It is markered LE USE only. I have been told verious theories about whether or not I can use it (I am not LE) One person told me it is a felony. Truth? Can I sell it? Give it to an LEO? WHat?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It is illegal for you to possess it. If you have any friends in LE, you could sell or give it to them. If you get caught with it, you could get busted.

So, heed it. Welcome aboard....[:)]

You do understand that mere possession of this mag is a felony, right? Unless you have a LEO that is a personal friend, I would surrender it to the local LEA immediately claiming you acquired it unknowingly, or destroy it. They're not worth that much!!!!

Send it to me, and I will dispose of it properly.
I am LEO and FFL so I can possess it.

What about a gun that is marked w/ LEO markings? I was at Wannemachers a coupla years ago and found a Glock .40 that was marked property of Texas Parks and Wildlife. I assumed it was a old Game Wardens pistol. I don't remember the mags it had with it but I didn't buy it. Decided on something else.

There are guns out there that were once the property of law enf agencies and maybe stamped as such. These are not restricted like the LE mags.
You can buy them like any other gun. Just make sure it is from a reputable dealer and not some guy on a street corner.

What about a top folding 870 stock that says FOR LAW ENFORCEMNT ONLY ?? It is not on a semiauto but just having that stamped on it means it is illegal to own if not an LEO?
If force ain't work'n... Your not use'n nough of it.
I know the spelling is bad but guess what I DON'T CARE0 -
No problem on LEO marked guns, just the mags. Many departments dispose of their surplus guns by seliing them to wholesalers and they promptly get into the non-LEO markets. The SWB outlawed the "high-cap" mags as LEO only.. hopefully that silly law will expire this Septemeber.

Not exactly.
The top folding 870, despite the LEO markings, is still legal for transfer to civilians.
However, semi-automatic assault weapons manufactured after September 13, 1994 cannot legally be possessed by civilians. These guns are marked "RESTRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE ONLY" or "FOR EXPORT ONLY".
