    Hello root tracker...

Actual D.O.M. is likely to be in the year 1900, but the only way to know for sure, is to have it researched through the Cody Firearms Museum. They have the original Winchester factory ledgers, and can tell you the precise day that it was recieved in the warehouse and when it was shipped (but not to whom it was shipped).

Value is tough to pin down accurately sight unseen, but any Model 1890 in NRA good to excellent condition is very collectable, and can be worth very decent $$$. Can you post or provide pictures of it? If you can not post or provide pictures, as accurately as possible, describe how much of the original finish remains on the frame, barrel, stocks, and what condition the bore is in. Also note any defects in the stocks (large dents, cracks, missing splinters or chips, etc.) If it truly grades out as NRA Excellent, it will easily pass the $1000 mark.
