No. You will have to have it shipped to a FFL holder in your state and do the paperwork there.

A friend will post your bail. A good friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying, "man that was fun!"

It may depend on your state.
As an Iowa resident I may go to any state I want and purchase a long gun from any FFL dealer.

If your state has no laws that prohibit it, you can travel to another state and purchase a long gun at an ffl dealer's place of business. If the internet auction purchase is from an ffl dealer there should be no problem. Pistols are different, you can't buy and take possession of one except in your state of residence.

    3-Months ago, Marlin rifle purchase:
I live in Nebraska, there is a Walmart on the Southern edge of Council Bluff's, Iowa. Walmart had a Blue steel, Marlin 30-30 with a Camo stock at nearly $50 lower than any other place that had the same model. I drove across the Missouri river into Iowa and bought the rifle. After doing the call-in check and filling out form 4473. I took the rifle home. I have not fired that Blue Marlin yet...and probably won't...found a new stainless 30-30 in the box for the same price. I'm gonna keep the stainless one...
