Remington 760 Rare?

Hi, I been looking for a Remington 760 in 243, no luck. I've seen other cal. for sale that people say are rare like 257 Roberts and 300 Savage, but no 243. Was this a low production cal., is the a rare gun to find?

    I wouldn't think it would be that hard to find.

    Especially considering the popularity of the .243.

    The 760 in standard grade was made from 1952-1980.NIB $850
    The .222Rem.NIB $1175,.223Rem.NIB $1350,.257 Roberts NIB $890 being of more value according to the 2003 Gun Traders Guide.

    I saw one the other day on the used rack , it was pretty beat up , lot of rust , tooo bad

    I found a nice one today at a gun show and I personally know who owns it. Rifle is a "conservative" 85 per cent....let me know if you want it. If your not sincerely interested in buying this rifle then I'll spend my time playing and spoiling my grandson.

    Probably not rare but you have to remember that during the 760 reign Remington was chambering their own 6mm Remington. Why would they want to chamber their competition?
