Remington on repair of their products...

I have heard story's about how remington will not work on their older firearms. Such as a their early model 760 rifle's. I once had a very old Ruger 44mag semi-auto rifle. Sent it back to Ruger for a check up...they sent it back with a MUCH better stock, replaced all old parts with new and charged me for shipping only...WOW... On the other hand I've heard that Rem's attitude is pretty much tuff-shiddd your 760 is too old, buy a new one...

  its not the 760 its the 742 that they will not work on
