Lanber 1187 EST
Hi im new to this forum and new to the world of shooting. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some information on the Lanber 1187EST shotgun as i am interested in purchasing one but i am unsure of its history (good/bad.. etc).

Correction, i have since found that the moldel number was infact wrong. The gun is a Lanber 2087. So if anyone has heared of or used this type of gun and information would be grateful!

G'day..can't answer your question about the Lanber...but thought they had taken away all your guns and were now banning swords, sabers, and bayonets.

Don't know what's available in the Down-Under, and I don't have a clue as to how things price out.
There are better guns out there than the Lanber. I'd have a long look at some of the Japenese offerings (even if I'd rather have something else). Many famous Italian guns are good, too. In the end I'd choose a Mossberg or Stevens on the low end. Perhaps a Remington or Ithaca as a medium priced gun. Then a Browning or Ruger if you were interested in a quality O/U.
Understand... These are guns I'm familiar with and I'm not trying to steer you toward any brand in particular. What I'm saying is that it's worth the money to pay a bit more for quality and fit.
Will Lanber take back their worn out or broken product in 20 years and return it as-new for just the cost of shipping? Ruger will. What's that worth?
