New barrel

What is the formula for breaking in a new rifle? I've heared to shoot once and clean, and repeat over and over, any suggestions? The gun is a ruger 77 MII in 220 swift

  If Ron Smith is doing them you cant go wrong. He is one of the top barrel makers.
