Remington Mountain Rifles Value
A lady at work asked me to look at a rifle she wants to get rid of so i checked it out this weekend and it turns out to be a Remington Mountain rifle chambered in 7mm-08.
It has a Redfield 3x9 Tracker scope.
The rifle had a few handling marks but overall i would rate it at the very least 90%.
The scope has a scuff on the finish as well.
The rifle was bought for her now ex husband in 1992.
What do you think its worth??

$500 at least.
God gave us all a gift. Have you found yours yet ?0 -
I paid $400 for a new one in .280 (no scope), about three years ago.
BTW, after a trigger job, the rifle shoots .75" five shot groups off a sand bag. [:)]0 -
I didn't know that Remington made them in 92, Gun shop here just started getting them in about a year ago. I know 3 people that have them and they all are great shooters, Dont know why with that little pencel barrel. one in 7mm-08 would be GREAT. 0 -
First year availible in 7mm-08 was 1988. -- Blue book lists it at these : 90%=275, 95%=315, 98%=380, 100%=445. -- If it has the detachable magazine the same %values range from 330-600 but they didn't come out until 1995. -- You can usually get a new R. Tracker scope for about 180.00 from natchez, etc. It's their cheapest scope. -- Don't know what these guns go for in your area.......good luck...[8D] 0
