HELP pin fire pistol I D ?
Hello. I picked up this pin fire pistol the other day but cannot find it in any book. It came out of a house in Georgia with other Confederate items. It is a 6 shot 7mm loop trigger double action,6 inch barrel with lanyard ring.. It has a cartouche which looks like MFI or MEI ? It also has what looks like a bear, or rabbit mark on the back side of the cylinder and a C or G next to the ejector rod base. Could it be french or belgian? And how old is it and what could it be worth? Thank you RM.

You could very well be discribing a French Le Page but more likely a French 'Baby Le Mat'...But without Photos I'd hesitate to make any deffinate statements until its known for sure...
