New guy with a Llama question
I'm trying to figure out what model of Llama 9mm I have so I can try to find some more clips for it. On the one side it says Llama 9mm Parabellum. The other has the normal Gabilondo y Cia-Vitoria. The importer was Stoeger Industries. The serial is B636** and there is a capital L on the trigger guard. Any ideas? It of course has the normal stampings that Llama's have (i.e. the Crown).
Thanks.
Thanks.

Try out www.cheaperthandirt.com They have a whole section devoted to magazines. You didn't say whether this is a NEW pistol, or you purchased it used.
I have one of their 1911 clones that shoots like a dream, in 45 ACP, and it takes regular 1911 magazines, single stack. On the left side of the slide should be a model number. Use that model number to see if the website I named above has a mag that will fit your pistol.
You can also check at www.bersa-llama.com for magazines and parts. But their prices on magazines is unbelievably high.
Sorry I couldn't help out more, but hope I have pointed you in the right direction. Hopefully someone else can help you out a little more than I have.

sounds like you have a "Model X-A " made from 1954 to present if it has the grip safety and ring hammer if this a newer gun this should be it...9 shot clip a good shooter Lee 0 -
If it has a "spur hammer", and a "ventilated rib", that has "serrations" on top my reference shows it to be the Model "XI-B", ( 11B ).
The model "X-A" ( 10A ) is chambered for the 32 Auto & 380 Auto. cartridges.

I bought it used a couple years ago, but it doesn't look exactly like the newer Llamas. It's definitely a 1911 clone though. The pictures of a 1911 that I have seen look exactly like my pistol.
I will look into the Model X-A. Maybe that will be it.
I have brought it to some of the gun dealers around here looking for magazines, and they have been completely unhelpful. That's why I figured I'd ask you guys.
Thanks for the help.

Ok. It looks like it's an XI-B. The picture at http://www.morriswatchshop.com/09-074-24_Llama XIB.jpg looks exactly like it. Now, if I can only find a magazine for it.
Thanks for the help.

Try Triple K, they make mags for all kinds of obsolete guns.

That looks quite a bit like my pistol, except mine's a duo-tone, in 45 ACP. Model number on mine is IX-A. Shoots like a dream and fires every type of ammo I've tried.
Hope you have good luck chasing down a mag for it.

The search says they have it ...the site describes it differently, and $40.0 -
Thanks for the help. I'll look at these websites and see if they can help me. Also, next weekend there's a gun show here. I will probably go look there as well. 0
