I know that in Michigan it's illegal to hunt with a scope that emits light IE: laser and infra-red sights. Iluminated reticals and red dot's are OK however, as they don't illuminate the game.

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

Anything that would emit a beam of light at or onto a target would be viewed as 'shining' in Wisconsin.

in PA you can't use a sight that projects light/laser on the target

Thanks guys, seems like a plain red dot is legal most other places, any other scopes too just as long as they dont emit any light, huh?

    That's about it.
The laws were written before IR and Laser sights existed, the intent is to define/restrict "spotlight" poaching (maglight mounted under forend).
