Garand trigger guard question
I have 2 garands, on a SA made in '44, and the other an H&R, made in '54.
The trigger guard on the SA has kind of a hump with a hole in it, side to side.
The trigger guard on the H&R does not have this.
What's the reason for the difference? Is one an older design than the other?
Thanks,
James

What men call a hero...is merely a man who is seen doing what a brave man does as a matter of course.

Just a design change from one company to another.
I measured it and cut it twice, and it's still too short!0 -
