Legal Question SKS mag. and California ?
Yup still a newbie trying to learn.I sold some extra sks parts I had on GB.one of which was a 20 round mag the winning bidder lives in California and I live in NY state (not the city).Can I ship to him?I am pretty sure that I can,t but want to make sure before i tell him no deal.Thanks for any help you have.

You can legally possess a belt fed semi automatic rifle in California.
Problem is you can not link up more than ten rounds....if the world goes upside down you could.....you won't be worried about the law then.

A Belt Fed AR15 upper, mate it with a California legal FAB10 receiver and you are in compliance. Will cost about $3500 or so.

A belt fed 30-06 or 308....heavy but cheaper. You can get the whole shabang for $2000 with a linker.
Their is a letter from the California Department of Justice that States belt fed guns are not 'assault weapons' in California...I believe they have it on www.subguns.com, www.1919a4.com, or www.full-auto.com.....can't remember where I saw it.0 -
