.32 cal.
Hi; I am looking at old 1892 and 1894 rifles on gunbroker, and am stymied. What is the difference between .32 spl, .32w.s., .32wcf, and .32wfc? Are they all the same as the .32 spl? MIKE

Yes, they're all one in the same. Don't recall a .32WFC before, though.

The 32 Special is a much larger cartridge than the 32WCF. The 32WCF is more commonly known as the 32-20. The 32-20 began life as a black powder cartridge that developed into a smokeless cartridge. Further, there were cartridges marked .32 W.H.V.M.-92, these were W.R.A. (Winchester Repeating Arms) and were high velocity rounds for the Model 92 Winchester rifle; not for use in revolvers. The .32WFC is nothing I have heard of. 0 -
The 32 Win Special is a necked up 30-30. The 32WCF[or 32-20]as Ronald stated, is a much smaller case introduced with the 1873 Win.Kdub just misread the post, as he is well aware of the difference. There is no such animal as the 32 WFC.
Love them Pre-64's!!!!-Bob0
