I have a model 670 38 v3474** smith&wesson 5 inch barrel pistol,6 shot.nichol plated?gold trigger,hammer,pin.I can not find in books?marked us property GHD.Can one of the pros identify?Thank you.steve.
I have a model 67,and a 67-1.what is this?

  Thanks,a 38 spl,won't fit.the 670 mark is also on the barrell swing out arm.thank you.

  Tfhe 670 is an assembly number. S & W stamped such a number on major parts during assembly to keep the parts together for the gun they were fitted to.
