80 series Colt slide

What problems will I encounter installing a 70 series barrel in an 80 series Colt slide assembly? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

  You should not have any problems. As long as it is a factory barrel, it should drop in. The 70 barrel is designed to work with a collet style bushing, but I have used them with solid bushings. This assumes that neither slide nor barrel is a Gold Cup which has a smaller width hood. I also assume that both are 45 ACP.
