Galena firearms

Can anyone tell me something about Galena firearms? I bought a Automag2 and it is made by them not AMT.

  Galena Industries was the successor firm to AMT.
  
  They took over the production of some of the AMT pistols in 1998.
  
  Their business life was short, as they failed in 2001.
  
  Obviously your pistol was made in the time frame 1998 - 2001.

  They had an auction in the fall of 2002 to sell of all the inventory. I believe most of it went to Guns Parts Corp, or Numrich. We'll, more than likely, never see AMT being produced again.
