Colt Lightweight Commanderf

Am considering purchase of NIB Colt LWC Commander in 38 Super. Gun is blue but barrel bushing, hammer, grip safety, mag release, thumb safety and slide release are stainless. Supposed to be the way it came from the factory. Serial # is CLW013XXX. Any info on when it was manufactured and $$$ value would be much appreciated.[:)]

  Serial number says 1972 or early 1973.
  Blue Book value is $900 for a 100% specimen.
  Regarding the stainless parts: Maybe the pistol was a limited production run. Lew Horton or another distributor, perhaps. Or a limited edition from Colt. Probably won't bring much of a premium over the $900. Sounds pretty nice!
