Smith M&P Like have never seen.
I received a Smith M&P I got from the "Other Auction" today it's 5 screw
and ser# is in the 1948-51 range. Whats differant about is the trigger and hammer appear to be brass plated. This is the oldest M&P I have and never seen the the brass plated trigger and hammer before.

Definately not factory work.

How about a close up of the trigger and hammer?
I think it looks as though the case-hardened finish has aged and corroded somewhat, that's all.
I think it is factory.

Best I can get close up
I can see on the trigger where they is wear that it is plated and case coloring under the plate. Looking down at the hammer the whole hammer is plated
