Anyone Bowhunting With A Bowtech
I'm fairly new to bowhunting (last year was my first), but lately the bowtech line of bows have been catching my eye. I was in the local archery shop the other day and the owner who deals primarily PSE and Browning showed me the new PSE Scorpion, he mentioned that I should be careful with bowtech as he thinks there advertised IBO speeds seem to fast compared to the other lines.
For those of you using bowtechs are they accurately representing there speeds? Also I've been researching the bows they offer and I'm not sure which would be best suited for me. I'm primarily a hunter, who's looking for a good all around hunting bow, but I also enjoy shooting in 3D tournaments. My draw length on my PSE Beast is 29 with an overdraw so it may be slightly longer and has a 70# peak weightt. I'm looking for something that's faster but has the same forgiving qualities as I'm nowhere near an experienced shooter yet.
Any recommendations would be appreciated, also does anyone now of any online shops that have a large selection of bowtechs on hand along with prices. Thanks in advance.
