Ruger Mag help
I took a spill this morning fishing and need to clean my 10 round magazine, but I need some help taking it apart. Its the 10 rounder so there is a plastic block at the base, and I cant figure out how to disemble it. There is one tiny little dowel near the base, but I cant seem to tap it out. Anyone know any tricks to get these apart. The standard mags with the metal floor plate I have no problems with, but this plastic block at the bottom has me stumped. Its a factory Ruger P89 magazine.
Thanks

You should be able to press the "dowel" with a punch and slide the plastic piece away from the feeding direction. It is not something that should be "punched". Good luck, hope this helps.
