MATCH AMMO.
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.0 -
As Duckhunter suggests.. try some different kinds of ammo.
You will probably find, that eventhough theres not too much difference in the velocity of the ammo - there can be a big difference in accuracy.
Buy a pack of 50 of some different types - no matter how cheap they might seem, they might be better than the expencive.
I've found that CCI Mini-Mag, CCI Standard, Sellier & Bellot is good in my Ansh?tz - where American Eagle, Winchester X-Pert and CCI Stinger is crap, as the groups open up from nearly naildriving capabilities at 60 yards to 1" groups.
Don't do anything that I've allready done - That'd be just plain STOOOOOOPID.0 -
Ely pistol match shoots the best groups, by far, from my son's Remington 597, followed by Remington Golden Bullet and Winchester Super X. We had a lot of fun finding the most accurate cartridge for his rifle and the difference between groups was quite dramatic. 0 -
already useing match ammo i am just looking for some more accuracy after that to maybe stop using match ammo and use a cheaper ammo.
