Savage AccuTrigger?
How about some feedback from folks who have experience with this system. Is it marketing hype, or a good, reliable trigger system? Why wouldn't I be better off buying something else and having a trigger job done, like I did with my 700 Remington?
Here's a link in case anyone wants to read what the Savage marketing department thinks of their system.

Apparently it is here to stay, for now.
I asked the same thing to a local gunsmith.
He said only one came in for repair, and the guy had set it too light!
There are still some new rifles without it still in the distribution system, but these might dissappear within a few months.0 -
After almost 500 rounds thru a 12bvss300wsm, I can truthfully say it is a POS. If you want an excellent trigger on a savage, contact Sharp Shooters Savage Specialties. Leave the accu- joke alone.
Everyone has a photographic memory. Only some have film.0 -
i own the 10fp in .308 i love it how easily you can adjust the trigger

you can get a dog turd and gold plate it. but you still have a dog turd. thats what savage did with the accu- turd 0 -
I wouldn't trade your Rem. 700 with the trigger job for one........[8D] 0 -
Thanks for that advice temblor. LMAO!!!
Actually, what brought me to look at Savage is that I'm going to buy my fourteen year old son a "real" rifle before next deer season and I was looking at the Savage package guns.0
