Winchester recoil pad
I use to have the web address for someone who made reproductions pads for the Model 12 shotgun, would anyone have the address.
I have a model 12 with a sears pad on it and wondered if there is anyway by looking at the area that it mounts on if this stock had the pad originially. The stock is cut so clean and it does not look like its been refinished. There is a wood plug were the top screw would go in a butt plate, this is why I think it was cut and a after marker pad put on.

Anybody know of a source for a M12 Heavy Duck red recoil pad? I have a pristine Heavy Duck (1955) that someone has put a Winchester butt plate on, and want to make it correct. 0 -

laxcoach, bobski is right they sell the "reproduction of the Solid Red Winchester pad". The last price I saw was $30. I would also check the butt stock to see if it has the lead wieght, the lenght of pull was about 13 1/2 with a pad. Some people just put a longer stock on them because they were so short.
