Remington. I have an 870 that has been abused big time. Not the first problem. This is my truck gun. Always functions reliably and shoots like nobodies business. In my mind there is not a better pump on the market.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Only some have film.

I taught both of my sons to shoot with an 870 youth model. Excellent first gun.

Guns only have two enemies: Rust and Liberals....

A friend will post your bail. A good friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying, "man that was fun!"

Don't know about now...the older 870's the trigger guard assembly was metal. The mossbergs were plastic. Regardless of what it looks like 20 years from now, the 870 will still out trade, outsell, bring higher price than the mossberg.

Another here for the 870. Just shot mine the other day. Hadn't cleaned anything but barrel for about the past 4 years and still shot like the first day I got it. Has only jammed feeding or ejecting shells probably ~ 12 times in 7 years. It has been ABUSED.
