1)Yes, you are correct, in advising me, to obtain some reference material on guns? So far, I do have the the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson, by Supica and Nahas-but, nothing yet, regarding Colt handguns(As I have not yet, fallen deeply, in love with Colt's!)? I have(Briefly)seen, some of the other books, you have mentioned!
2)Although, I realize, that the various Gun Reference books, are necessary, to have(To learn about the various guns)I also, like to hear, what the various gun owners(And, gun collector's)have to say-whenever I ask my questions? This tends, to give me, much more "Insight" than just the published, gun facts, in view of the fact, that many of these books, are already behind the times(Because of the lag, in getting them printed & delivered to the Book Stores)! I believe, that the "Real world" gun owners, have much to offer(Even beyound the realm, of the printed, gun reference books?)! Besides, I enjoy, communicating, with the various Forum members(Including you, Saxon Pig-as I have gained a lot of knowledge, from your input)! I appreciate your advice, though!0 -
I see these here on the east coast for 500 to 700 dollars at various gunshops.
Here in MA Colt's do get a slight premium because they are not on our list of accepted handguns, because of that, only guns that already are here in MA before i think 1988 are exempt and therefore get a slight premium.
I measured it and cut it twice, and it's still too short!0
