Accu-wedge

I ordered one of these from Bushmaster. I placed it in the lower as shown and I cannot get it to close no matter how hard I try. I know it's supposed to tighten the fit of the upper to the lower, but this is ridiculous. Am I not doing something right? Should I shave down the wedge?

  stick it behind the rear pin that holds the upper and lower together. the round base should fit down in the little ledge below the pin, with the tail part going up. when the pin is pressed in, the tail part will be directly behind the pin. this is easier to show than explain, and i dont have a digital camera. I have these in all of my ar's and they all fit right in.

  Finally got it. After shaving some off the bottom, it finally closes. Man is that thing TIGHT! I guess that's the point, though.
