Winchester 94 flat band

I've seen, and own, model 94's (pre-64) with barrel bands that are rounded and barrel bands that are flat.
Is there any difference as far as collectability? Are the flat bands at all rare?
Thanks for any input.

  The Model 94s with the flat barrel band were only during a 2.5 year span during WW II. As far as actual numbers go, they are considerably rarer than the more common "rounded" barrel band, but they do not seem to bring much of a premium (if any at all).
