Blue Wonder cleaner seems to remove everything except the barrel so far.
Available from several sources, on or offline.0 -
Try Barnes Copper Solvent, but go easy at first; it's fairly aggressive.
If that doesn't do it; get an Outers Foul Out electronic cleaner.
Then when you get it all out, do it again.
The fouling you're getting may be caused by a rough bore; maybe some JB Bore Paste on a wet patch will help smooth out tool marks & other small scratches that are retaining copper.

Before you go to the expense of getting an electronic cleaner try (1) Blue Wonder or (2) Butch's Bore Shine. The Blue Wonder will do the job.

sweets 7.62 works on hard copper fouling,..but use it according to the directions. Some cleaners are best used for routine cleanings,..as they are designed to not be as aggressive,...sweets is aggressive and will remove copper so much the patches will come out dark blue,..not green like lesser aggressive products. Be sure to soak the bore in oil for a day or so after using it.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

Try Wipe Out. Just foam the bore, let it stand overnight and run a couple of patches through the next morning. You will be amazed.

Shooters Choice..# 1 0 -
I use the Hoppies # 9 as it is less expensive for the cleaning, Then
I run a soaked patch with Shooters Choice (more expensive) and leave
it overnight. Then a couple of patches and then oil. Seems to work
well. A bit of trouble but cheaper. Also a bore guide AND a plastic
coated rod keep muzzle wear down when cleaning from the muzzle on such as a M-1. Never a jointed cleaning rod. Thats for combat use only in

Thank you all! I went to the store and the only product suggested that they carry was "Blue Wonder" --- It is. It works lots more better than what I had. Thanks again, who said I was too old to learn something new? Jim
