Moderate fire (it'd be a scoped weapon so no bump-firing or anything.

    FMJ bullets

    no idea on powder type

barrel would be cleaned as often as necessary.

If you are looking at target work,..then stainless is my recommendation. Stainless barrels clean up easier (if match grade) and have a better inherent lubricity. My match barrels (all stainless) are cleaned after every match ( no more than 35-40rnds). Now,..my long range hunting rigs which are built to benchrest standards, are cleaned every 10 rnds or so. The chrome lined bores were made to make barrels last longer in a combat situation ( full auto or fast fire) They still will never be as accurate or as easy to clean as stainless barrels. Buy a good stainless barrel and never look back.
