antique percussion...
Hi-I acquired a gun from a great aunt who wanted me to try to find out what it's value is. It's a percussion double barrel shotgun--heavily engraved from barrel to stock. I am trying to make out the name that is engraved--and whether or not it is a previous owner, or perhaps the gun's maker. I am checking other places as well, just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask... the name that is engraved appears to be along the lines of : "O'Renhelt". It is in Old English lettering-so it is questionable. Thanks for any advice. Ralph

Thanks for the reply. I really don't know much about guns--I'm not sure about some of the details, but I tried to take some good pictures and I can't figure out how to post the images. Can anyone help? Thanks again! 0 -
Drop me an email and I'll provide you with my direct email address so you can send the pix to me, then I'll post them for you.
