hk clones wanted
I'm looking into the names and reputations of manufacturers or importers who make a good quality hk 91 clone available here in the good old USA.
Opinions on the best buy, or any helpful advice would be much appreciated as well. I would like to avoid anything with cast parts but really all I want is a good shooter that's easy on the bank account.

The only one i've heard of is made by olympic arms...course i haven't looked hard. just run a search on gun broker and you should find more clones than the real thing anyway

You'll want to look at the SW3's made by Special Weapons LLC. I think their name has changed though, Bobcat something or other .... they advertise in SGN but I don't have a copy handy. IMO their quality matches a true HK ....... at 1/2 to 2/3 the price!

If you can find one, consider a Springfield SAR8. The older ones were made in Greece on HK licensed equipment and the latter ones have an American made aluminum receiver. Both have a lifetime warranty from Springfield Armory.

CDNN was selling them for $769 not too long ago. Local shop had one with a price over a grand. [xx(]
also Ohio rapid Fire makes a nice nice copy. I believe they rework century receivers. Check out: http://www.ohiorapidfire.com
