Double action 45acp? CZ97b?
Been looking for a good double action 45acp. I have a glock 36, and don't want another glock. Looks like the CZ 97b is a ggod gun. Anyone shot one? I've shoot the 75, but is the 97 any differnt. Any other D/A 45acp I should look at. I would like at least 10rnd magizine.

The CZ97 is a sweet shooter and just as reliable as the 75, but for a few more dollars try the Para LDA double stacks. Until you experience the trigger on a LDA you won't believe it. Downside is there is no re-strike capability.

If you like the cz look at the Tanfoglio EAA. Full size and compact. If you want more power look at the 10mm EAA. my 2 cents [8D]

Gap1916 has it right, The EAA Witness is the way to go. A buddy of mine has four of them 2 in 9mm and 2 in 45, one of the 45's is a compact and the other is full size. I've shot all of them and they shoot really well. The EAA is a little less money than the CZ also.

Got it! Shot it! Both the CZ-97B and the Witness .45. Like them both, and would recommend either. As for the Paras, Punchie is right on! All good choices. [:D] 0 -
1022, I've got the EAA/Tanfoglio TacII in 45ACP. That's the full size frame (10 rounds) with the shorter barrel and slide, SA/DA, safety can be used cocked or not. That is in the Wonder Finish, which is pretty decent. Shoots very well. I initially had a problem with the factory rear sight. The factory put on the wrong one, and I had a medium-lousy time getting the correct one from EAA.
Good gun, short and stout, trigger's not bad at all. For $289 @ CDNN it was a good deal for a good gun.
I fondled a CZ97 a couple of years ago, it seemed big and kind of clunky. I don't want to start a flame war here, it was just a quick impression that I recall.0
