Value of an S&W Pre-Model 10(2" Barrel)?

Does a Pre-Model 10(With a 2" Barrel)have much value? The gun is in about 99% overall condition, with Diamond grips?

  Difference in value between Pre and Post War. You've done enough of these "value" posts to know that you have to give as much info. as possible, and that if you don't we really can't help you.

  Contender Man: Yes, you made a very good point! However, I had been looking at several different, S&W "Collectible" handguns, in one particular, Gun Shop(But, in the case of the 2" Barrel, Post- War, M10, I got away, without obtaining the S/N or other particulars, on this gun-so, I just gave the Info, that I had?)! However, I'll try not to "Fumble" this, from now on? I realize, that getting all of the important details, on the various, S&W "Collectible" handguns, is very necessary, to enable obtaining the proper, information, about these guns! Thanks!
