looking at an old marlin and was wondering what ""32 HPS"" caliber it is is it a 32 special or ??? thanks lee

  Lee, I believe the .32 Win. Special and the
  .32 Marlin High Power Special are the same.
  Maybe post a question to Iconoclast, he is the resident cartridge expert, or to CaptKirk, to be sure.
