Hi Standard Derringer

High Standard Derringer, 22 mag. I lost the two screws that secure the black grips to the frame. I have tried finding the right size at a major hardward store but the best I come up with is still loose when you screw it in. Anyone out there know the demensions of the proper sizes and thread?[?][?] Thanks Joe Newport RI

  you can buy the screws several places on line but the price is $2.00 for two plus quite a few dollars shipping/handling. they must be available thru a hardware store. thanks for your interest.

  I looked for my grips and screws last night; no luck finding them. I know that I did not discard them, so eventually I will stumble across them.If you can buy them, I would advise you to do so. The head style is different than a hardware-store screw, even if you can match the thread.
  I took off the grips permanently to make the derringer much flatter, and filled the hole in the left side metal panel to keep dirt out. Checkered the backstrap for a more secure hold; works like a champ.
