.22 pistol
Hello all,
I recently obtained a .22 pistol. The manufacturer is FIE, Model: Texas Ranger. The pistol is a Single Action. I have never heard of this make or model before. The original box and paperwork states that is was built 100% in the USA. I am wondering if anyone out there might have some history on the maker and or model. Any help would be great.
Got to love the feel of the thump!!!!!!

Im looking for a .22 pistol to small game hunt with. Im thinking about the Heritage revolver. Any good? I might want to shoot 22 shotshells out of the gun and the only smooth bore I can find is the Rexio...looks cheap..any suggestions? 0 -
Inexpensive quasi-clones of Colt SAA manufactured for F.I.E. in both the USA and in Brescia, Italy
Value for 100% condition would be $100-125
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
FIE was a large importer/ distributor of mostly inexpensive firearms in the 1980's. They went out of business in 1990.
My WAG is that your revolver was assembled in the US, from primarily European made parts.
Your best bet would to obtain a copy of the Blue Book, they have information on all the guns FIE sold when they were in business.
