Remington bottle
Customer just brought in a glass bottle and I have seen nothing like it.
It says Rem-Oil on the front. Under this is a circle containing the words Remington/UMC, under that is Powder Solvent, Lubricant, Rust Preventive. The total height is 5", thickness is 1*3/8", the neck is 1&3/8" high, the glass is pale blue/green and the number 5 is on the bottom of the bottle. At one time a cork sealed the bottle and that is now missing. The condition of the bottle is excellent. Anyone have any idea of present value? An old appraisal from 30 years ago put a $300. value on it; my personal opinion is that he should have sold it then!
