sighting in a scope
I have a scope that is 1 click 1/8" at 100yds. At 200yds to move it up 1 inch would that be 16 clicks or 4?

It would be 4 clicks for 1" at 200 yds. 0 -
You get 8 clicks for 1" per 100 yds.
Wouldn't 16 clicks be correct for 200 yds.?

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

Nope -
You moved the Point of Impact (POI) 1/8th of an inch at 100 yds with each click. That same click will now move the POI 1/4" at 200 yds, because the distance doubled. Conversely, if shooting at 50 yds, one click would move the POI 1/16th of an inch, and if targeted at 25 yds, would only move it 1/32nds of an inch.

Remember it's a angular change. The further out you go the greater the greater the distance becomes.
You get 8 clicks per MOA. 1 MOA =1.035" per 100yd.
1 click at 50yd = 1/16"
1 click @ 100yd = 1/8"
1 click @ 200yd = 1/4"
1 click @ 300yd = 3/8"

.
1 click @ 1000yd = 10/8 or 1 1/4"
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0 -
