BENELLI--SUPER BLACK EAGLE OR M1
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SUPER BLACK EAGLE AND THE MI. I AM LEFT HANDED AND LOOKING TO BUY A GOOD TURKEY GUN. IT LOOKS LIKE I DON'T HAVE ALOT OF CHOICES

3" chamber on the M1, 3 1/2" on the SBE... If you are gonna waterfowl or turkey get the SBE, otherwise get the M1. I have the SBE and it would honestly be the last gun I'd get rid of because it's so versatile. 0 -
runt-hunter...... I have a SBE left hand in camo. I use it for everything from doves to geese. It is accurate and reliable. You would not be dissappointed with this gun.
By M1 I assume you mean the M1 super 90 "field" versus the M1 super 90 "tactical" or "defence".
The super 90 "field" is available in left hand, but I believe it comes with 3 choke tubes as opposed to 5 tubes with the SBE.
Oh yeh, welcome to the forum!!

You simply can't go wrong with a Benelli. That's my opinion.
I have a Super Black Eagle as well and it's very versatile, eats just about any shell that's thrown in it's direction.
It's worth mentioning, that like with any recoil-operated gun - you need to shoot it a lot - in order to get it "Broken in".
I.e. in order for it to operate more and more smooth with light loads.
The craftmanship and quality is nearly unsurpassed in a Benelli.
At least in Europe - there's a 15 year warranty on their products.
Bought mine from the Scandinavian Distributor in Denmark, at that time - he had dealt with Benelli for 16 or 18 years, I can't remember which and he never had even ONE warranty-claim.
For short - They work and keep on working.
If you treat them right offcourse.
It's no wonder that many special forces and policedistricts have Benelli for a variety of uses.
Don't do anything that I've allready done - That'd be just plain STOOOOOOPID.0
